Process for ITC Endorsement of Publications
Periodically, the ITC will review and endorse publications on topics deemed relevant to the ITC Mission, which is “… to encourage dialog in all sectors of transporter research to solidify our present understanding, challenge our current thinking, and position ourselves to better address the complex and critical issues related to transporters in drug development.” Typically, the topics for these publications and white papers emerge from transporter workshops/symposia and these publications provide recommendations that are reviewed and endorsed by the ITC.
Endorsement of a publication by the ITC will be considered for relevant topics. Requests for endorsement, including a title, abstract, outline, planned recommendations (if any), and co-authors, should be submitted to the ITC Steering Committee via an email to Prof. Aleksandra Galetin for review, discussion, and feedback to the authors before they prepare an initial manuscript draft. The final draft of the manuscript will be circulated by the Steering Committee to the ITC membership for review and feedback to the authors at least 30 days prior to journal submission.
